Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for customer service, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction and provide outstanding hospitality.
- Participate in banquet services as needed, assisting with setup, service, and breakdown of events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is an advantage.
