Construction Shop Mechanic

Mr. Rehab LLC based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanic for our CIPP pipelining, infrastructure inspection, and rehabilitation project operations to join a rapidly growing company. This position maintains the operational status of all facilities, vehicles, and specialized equipment used in sanitary/stormwater infrastructure repair operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and trailers (classes 1 through 8)
• Maintenance and repair of portable power equipment and power generation units
• Maintenance and repair of remotely operated CCTV and robotic pipe relining equipment
• Maintenance and repair of facilities and grounds (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Design and fabrication of purpose-built devices and equipment for use in field operations
• Help Desk" support for vehicles and equipment used in field operations
• "Road Service" support for vehicles and equipment used in field operations
• Supply purchasing and inventory control of repair parts and general hardware
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of materials and supplies
• Assist in field operations as necessary
• Must be able to perform all tasks assigned on a daily basis
• Perform other duties as assigned and reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above

Candidate Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Three to five years of related experience and/or training preferred
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Experienced in the use of power tools and metalworking/fabrication equipment. Hand tools (micro and macro), paints and industrial coatings
• Use and creation of mechanical and electrical schematics
• Attention to detail
• Must possess high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
• Must be reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude and team spirit
• Must consent to a criminal background check, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and possess clear MVR
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
