Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in climbing and operating bucket trucks. This role involves working in various outdoor environments, performing essential tree trimming, care, and maintenance tasks to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees in our clients' landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Climb trees using appropriate safety gear and techniques to perform trimming and removal tasks.
- Operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently for high-access tree care operations.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care and general upkeep of outdoor spaces.
- Utilize GIS technology to map tree locations and assess growth patterns for effective management.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tree care projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain equipment, including rigging tools and climbing gear, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their tree care needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tree climbing, trimming, and general tree care practices.
- Familiarity with bucket operation and the safe use of bucket trucks.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, including lawn care practices.
- Understanding of GIS applications related to tree management is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $201.98 - $243.24 per day
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
