What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Facilities Technician position at MRA Group?
This is a full-time hourly position with direct responsibility for the daily maintenance and upkeep of a large life science campus. The Maintenance Repair Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, install and repair and maintain building and property equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals.

- Perform highly diversified duties for the general maintenance and repair of a life science campus to maintain buildings to performance standards. Includes minor electrical (i.e., ballasts) plumbing, painting, grounds keeping and carpentry work.
- Respond to daily work-orders and communicate accordingly to resolve work order issues.
- Maintain working knowledge of emergency shut-offs, timers, electrical panels, fire panels, sprinklers, generators, and all mechanical rooms.
- Direct / assist 3rd party vendors when appropriate. Assist contractors with access.
- Parking lot maintenance areas including curbs, drive lanes and sidewalks. Police building and grounds to maintain pristine environment. Identify areas that may be a potential safety, liability or security risk. Report any concerns.
- 3 years of experience in commercial facilities maintenance.
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license.
- US work authorization.
- Must have tools.
Compensation : 20 - $25 hourly

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
