MRA Recruiting Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the effective and efficient operations of our human resource department. As an HR Assistant, you will perform administrative tasks, answer employee questions, and maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all human resource files, records, and documentation in a secure and confidential manner.
- Answer frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, payroll processes, etc.
- Perform all aspects of payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and HRIS system to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed or put in system correctly.
- Maintain all logs and documentation for our Rideshare program.
- Perform Benefit meetings and enrollment for all new hires or qualified employees.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
