Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and establish selection criteria
- Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and shortlist qualified candidates for in-person interviews
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing roles.
- Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices in recruitment
- Build relationships with external recruitment agencies, technical schools, and community organizations to expand sourcing efforts
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the hiring process
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and job functions is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector
- Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, mobile equipment, and walking surfaces strewn with materials, power cords and tools is typical
- Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.,
- Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling and walking 8 to 10 hours per day
- Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work
- Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time
- Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area
