KMS Industries, Inc., an MRA member, is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Robotic Welder on 2nd Shift. Founded by a local family in 1971, KSM Industries, Inc.’s metal fabricating services sought to meet the changing and complex demands of Wisconsin area capital goods manufacturers.KSM Industries specializes in high-quality sheet metal assemblies and weldments of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
Duties include:
Duties include: Set up and operate and maintain Robotic Weld Cell, including setup of fixtures, basic operator preventive and curative maintenance on robotic systems and components, and maintaining safe and efficient operations to consistently drive efficiencies and high-quality parts. Capable to set up and weld GMAW in mild steel, (stainless and aluminum alloys a plus); ability to read and interpret customers prints, follow work instructions, and perform basic measurements. Work includes robotic welding of both small and large sized weldments including use of fixtures. The Robotic welder will work with the welding engineering and robotics team to ensure programs are running smoothly and efficiently. Ability to certify to AWS and ASME specs. Familiarity with Genesis systems and Fanuc Robots and programming capability a plus.
