Our collaborative, multidisciplinary approach begins with a comprehensive project review and continues through the execution of detailed reports, plans, and specifications-always meeting deadlines and staying within budget.

Applied Technologies offers autonomous work experience in a consultative environment focused on a variety of projects, limited travel, and a hybrid work schedule.

This position can be at our Brookfield, WI, or Lake Villa, IL office.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and critique technical specifications of all structural plans and designs
• Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental and / or human factors
• Analyze various materials based on structural specifications recommending the most effective method
• Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
• Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and government agencies regarding construction
• Ensure building and equipment specifications comply with applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and codes
• Communicate with clients throughout the project process and beyond to foster current and ongoing business relationships
• Adhere to project deadlines and budgets, communicating any variances to the Project Manager promptly
