Job Summary
The Concrete Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for concrete construction projects, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and budgets. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for concrete work.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to inform cost projections.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals and budget estimates in a timely manner.
Experience
- Experience as an estimator in concrete construction or a similar role.
- Proven experience in estimating for a variety of concrete construction projects, including [e.g., foundations, slabs, walls, structural concrete].
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
