Quality Control Manager – Asphalt Production
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing quality control operations at asphalt production sites. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role ensures compliance with project specifications, performs material inspections, conducts testing, and maintains quality standards across multiple job sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and FDOT design standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess quality issues and implement solutions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficiency in data entry, reporting, and technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems, including ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
- Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality assurance practices.
- Manage data entry and documentation related to quality control activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on quality objectives.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
