We are currently seeking an Economic Development Consultant/Senior Economic Analyst to lead economic development projects and to support our growing team of economic development professionals. The candidate will primarily serve as a project manager and senior analyst for a variety of projects, including strategic plans, real estate and industry market analysis, feasibility studies, economic and fiscal impact analysis, and economic development-adjacent strategies (ex. housing, tourism, land development.)
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects and tasks at a given time, self-managing workload with support from peers and supervisor as needed.
- Oversee junior staff, including mentoring.
- Interface with clients regularly as the 'face' of MRB Group, including giving public presentations.
- Analyze and interpret complex data related to demographics, economics, industries, real estate, housing and finance.
- Synthesize data with qualitative research (interviews, surveys, focus groups, client comments) to arrive at findings.
- Write up summaries that are meaningful and digestible to a non-technical audience, with solid strategic thinking.
- Prepare and give presentations of those summaries with appealing visuals.
- Conduct financial analysis, including economic and fiscal impact analysis, pro forma projections, etc.

7 years of professional work experience.
Educational Requirement:
Master’s level degree in urban planning, public policy, public administration, geography, real estate, economics, business or related field.
Additional Skills Preferred, Not Required:
Experience in financial analysis and economic impact analysis.
Experience working in a consulting role.
