Responsibilities:
- Accountable for preparing monthly results packages including variance analysis, price/volume/mix analysis, and detailed review of departmental operating costs.
- Actively participate in the monthly closing process and provide guidance as required.
- Analyse the financial performance of the plant and provide support & guidance to stakeholders for business decision-making.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (sales, planning, production depts., etc.) and assimilate materials into an annual budget and monthly forecasts (P&L and CF).
- Work with Supply Chain to maximize profits and cash flow by reviewing monthly metal flows.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support plant operations and Business Units.
- Continually evaluate and track cost reduction and improvement projects.
- Oversee preparation of direct and indirect cash flow forecast and related analysis.
- Manage the sales controlling function: review all new agreements for compliance with SOX needs and internal controls, provide quotes for new product, run analysis.
- Manage the execution of hedges, oversee daily operations, perform SOX controls, train, and perform hedge efficiency assessments in link with Central Treasury.
- Maintain the integrity of internal and external reporting within GAAP and IFRS requirements while adhering to policy and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with CGAM Group Accounting Manual), Internal Control Procedures and SOX.
- Oversee management and maintenance of standard costing system.
- Evaluate capital projects for strategic fit and financial return (IRR, NPV, and payback). Perform audits as required to validate project performance versus justification (RFA).
- Manage BI reporting tools for accuracy and adequate fit to business needs.
- Manage a team of 4, and develop the skills and talents of the team. Report to the Plant CFO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, required.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), preferred.
- 10 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment, required
- Proven track record of driving the FP&A processes, including reporting, forecasting, cash modeling, annual and long-term budgeting/planning, variance analysis, financial modeling, and monthly close analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical skills
- Record of providing financial leadership within manufacturing operations in driving continuous cost improvement
- Experience in building complex financial models (i.e. pro-forma financial statements) in support of company initiatives and/or the budget/forecast/planning process
- Ability to develop, train employees, improve employee confidence, moral, processes, reliability, and accuracy
- Solid knowledge of SAP (S/4 Hana is a plus), Power BI tools and familiar with complex excel models.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
