Overview
PRIVATE CAREGIVERS NEEDED at a lovely estate with great pay and perks for flexible, as-available shifts. This is a light-duty care position with opportunities for downtime and relaxation. We're seeking high-quality people who enjoy seeing the difference they make just by being around. Direct care experience is nice, but we'll provide training to all successful candidates, whether you're a philosophy student or nursing pro.
YOU'LL BE HELPING
HELPING a disabled young-professional adult who is intelligent, educated, employed, and capable of directing his needs. Your care helps him remain working and at home with his family, so this is a rewarding opportunity to gain deep healthcare knowledge and experience by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and health maintenance.
PAY is $20 / hr plus the following benefits and perks :

CURRENT OPENINGS Are :
Sundays 3-10pm
Our "flex pool," for which you'd receive full training and be notified of any open shifts immediately or in the future. If you want the shift, you'd take it; otherwise, no obligation. Typically, at least one shift per week opens up; many more in the case of staff illnesses etc. Short-notice openings typically come with big bonuses. Typical shifts are 7a / 8a-3p, 3-10p and 10p-3a or to 7a / 8a.
REQUIREMENTS include dependability and timeliness, good judgment, your own vehicle, proactive communication with 100% fluency in spoken English, a positive and professional attitude, smartphone, and ability to briefly lift 50 lbs. Applicants must be 18 or older, living within 30 minutes of North Mankato, and able to pass a thorough background check.

Description of Responsibilities
Primary Duties
Provide general light-duty care and monitoring; check wellbeing, and safety.
Secondary Duties (less frequent)
Assist with basic occasional household maintenance, possibly including :
occasionally cleaning.
Optional
May rarely be asked to provide core duties in medical / hospital setting; only as mutally agreed, special rates and seperate pay may apply.
May rarely help with shopping.
