What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assessment Audiologist - Kentucky Location position at MRG Exams?
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at MRG Exams. As part of our disability benefits process, you will be conducting medical assessments on United States Veterans.
The assessment process involves reviewing the Veteran's medical records, which are uploaded into a computer portal. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal. This forms the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran's benefits.
As an Audiologist with MRG Exams, you will not prescribe any medical treatments or devices. Your role will involve reviewing and assessing 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
This is an in-person position that offers flexible scheduling, with no evenings, no on-call, and no weekends. You will have 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes to spend with each patient.
To be successful in this role, you must hold an Au.D from an ASHA Accredited school, a current license as an Audiologist, and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
We offer malpractice insurance coverage, health insurance options, and ASHA Learning Pass membership for continuing education purposes.
Our commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients and respect for your professional expertise makes us an attractive employer for experienced Audiologists.
If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and serving the Veteran community, we encourage you to apply.
- We are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Auditological skills and experience working with Veterans are highly valued.
