A Unique Opportunity to Serve Veterans in Need
We invite a skilled Audiologist to join our team and conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans through the VA's disability benefits process.
Upon receiving a claim, all relevant medical records will be uploaded into a secure computer portal, allowing for seamless review during the appointment. The Audiologist will administer a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, followed by completion of a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal.
This critical documentation serves as essential evidence for the VA to determine the veteran's benefits.
Please note that this role does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices.
Average daily caseload: 3-6 Veterans
Schedule:
Mondays & Tuesdays, 8a-4p
This in-person position offers flexible scheduling with dedicated time for each patient (1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes), free from evenings, on-call responsibilities, or weekend work. No hearing aid sales are involved.
Requirements
- Hold an Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school
- Possess a current license as an Audiologist
