We are seeking an audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans within the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests for eligible Veterans
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQ) in our computer portal, providing crucial medical evidence for the VA's decision-making process
Distinguishing Features of the Role:
- No prescription authority for medical treatments or devices
- Average caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day
Schedule and Work Environment:
Monday and Tuesday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., with 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes per patient. No evenings, no weekends, and no on-call shifts.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an ASHA-accredited school with an Au.D. degree
- Holding a current license as an audiologist
