We are seeking a licensed audiologist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will perform auditory tests and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires, providing essential medical evidence for benefit evaluations. This full-time, in-person position allows for a rewarding opportunity to serve the Veteran community with a structured schedule.
Job Description:
Serve the Veteran community by conducting medical assessments as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
- Perform Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test for each Veteran
- Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in our computer portal
The results of these tests will form the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran's benefits.
This is an in-person position that offers a 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes per patient appointment time, with no evenings, on-call, or weekends.
Requirements:
- Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school
- Current license as an Audiologist
