Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal
- Conduct Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQ) within the portal
- Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM). Caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
Requirements:
- Audiologist degree from an ASHA Accredited School
- Current license as an Audiologist
- Strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data
- Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals
- Professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans
