About the Job
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to perform comprehensive medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal
- Performing comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran
- Completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal
The Licensed Psychologist will not make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This is an IN-PERSON position, requiring regular visits with Veterans.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school
- An active and unrestricted Psychology license
- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
