Description
We seek a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans through the VA's disability benefits process.
As a Disability Assessor, you will review behavioral health records electronically and conduct comprehensive in-person assessments of each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all decisions based on findings recorded in the DBQs.
This role involves only Disability Assessments on Veterans, not treatment or medication prescription.
On average, you will assess 4 Veterans per day.
As an Independent Contractor, you will work full-time (3 days face-to-face, 2 days telehealth).
Benefits include $500 per day and malpractice insurance coverage.
Requirements
- Hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program.
- Have an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Meet VA credentialing requirements.
