Disability Assessments for Veterans
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The role involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and performing a comprehensive assessment in person on each Veteran. You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
This position is responsible for conducting disability assessments, not making determinations. The findings recorded in the DBQs are used by the Veterans Administration for their decision-making process.
You will be working with an average of 4 Veterans per day and will be required to meet specific credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Requirements:
- Licensed Psychologist with an active and unrestricted Psychology license
- Graduated from an APA Accredited program/school
- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
