We are seeking a licensed psychologist to conduct disability assessments on United States veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In performing these assessments, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive in-person assessments for each veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The licensed psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all such determinations, using findings recorded in the DBQs.
This role exclusively involves conducting disability assessments on veterans and does not involve treatment or prescription of medication.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess four veterans per day.
- Brought on as an independent contractor.

Requirements
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school is required.
- An active and unrestricted psychology license is necessary.
- Credentialing requirements set forth by the VA must be met.
