Description
We seek a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive in-person assessments for each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all determinations using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This position only performs Disability Assessments on Veterans; you will not treat or prescribe medication.
As a Licensed Psychologist, you will review and assess 4 Veterans per day.
You will be brought on as an Independent Contractor.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday.
This is an in-person position.
Requirements
- You must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school.
- Holding an active and unrestricted Psychology license is mandatory.
- You must meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

Estimated Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year, based on a 20-hour workweek and assuming a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
