Description

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In performing Disability Assessments, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct comprehensive in-person assessments on each Veteran.

You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal.

The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, using findings recorded in the DBQs.

This role involves only performing Disability Assessments on Veterans; you will not treat patients or prescribe medication.

On average, you will review and assess 4 Veterans per day.

As an Independent Contractor, you will be brought on by MRG Exams.

Requirements

• Hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school.
• Possess an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
• Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
