Job Description:
Overview
- We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a PsyD or Ph.D. to perform assessment roles.
- This position involves performing independent medical assessments versus traditional patient care.
- The successful candidate will serve the Veteran community and enjoy reviewing medical records and completing assessment questionnaires.
- This role is part-time, averaging 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal.
- Perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal.
- The licensed psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all determinations using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
Requirements:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school.
- An active and unrestricted psychology license.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
