Description
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person for each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; instead, the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This position involves performing Disability Assessments solely on Veterans; you will not provide treatment or prescribe medication.
As a Licensed Psychologist, you will assess four Veterans per day.
This is an IN-PERSON position, requiring 2 days of work (8 am-5 pm).
Requirements
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school is required.
- An active and unrestricted Psychology license is necessary.
- Credentialing requirements set forth by the VA must be met.
