Disability Assessment Opportunities for Licensed Psychologists
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
About the Role
- Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal
- Perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal
The Licensed Psychologist will NOT make disability determinations. The Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess 4 Veterans per day on average
- Work independently as an Independent Contractor
- Part-time schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday (8am-5pm)
Requirements:
- Graduated from an APA Accredited program/school
- Holds an active & unrestricted Psychology license
- Health insurance options available
