Job Overview
- We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
- The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program and hold an active, unrestricted psychology license.
- This is a part-time, independent contractor position with flexible scheduling (2-3 days/week).
Description
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct comprehensive in-person assessments on each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal.
The licensed psychologist will not make disability determinations, but rather provide assessment findings that will be used by the U.S. Veterans Administration to determine disability benefits.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program
- Active and unrestricted psychology license
- Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
