Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Licensed Psychologist to perform comprehensive disability assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process.

In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct thorough in-person assessments on each Veteran.

You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal, providing valuable insights to support the Veteran's benefits claim.

This position does not involve making disability determinations, as those decisions are made by the U.S. Veterans Administration using the information gathered during the assessment process.

As a Licensed Psychologist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct independent assessments, not provide treatment or prescribe medication.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and assessing 4 Veterans per day
• Completing DBQs through the web portal
• Conducting thorough in-person assessments

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school
• An active & unrestricted Psychology license
• Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
