Job Overview

We are looking for a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Description of Responsibilities

• You will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal.
• You will perform comprehensive assessments in person on each veteran.
• You will complete disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal.

Important Details

• You will NOT make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
• You will NOT treat patients or prescribe medication in this position.

Requirements

• You must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree from an APA-accredited program/school.
• You must hold an active and unrestricted psychology license.
• You must meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
