Description
We are looking for a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person for each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
This position does not involve making disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all decisions using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This is an in-person role, and you will NOT treat patients or prescribe medication.
As an Independent Contractor, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing 4 Veterans per day on average.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree from an APA-accredited program.
- An active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Meeting the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
