Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans, reviewing behavioral health records electronically and performing comprehensive assessments.
- Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
- Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms.
Note: This role involves assessing disabilities, not treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Position Details:
- Part-Time Schedule: 1-2 days per week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
- In-person role with caseload of 4 Veterans per day on average.
- Equipment Provided: Computer and necessary tools for documentation.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited program/school.
- Active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
