Description
We are looking for a skilled licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role, you will:
- Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal.
- Perform comprehensive assessments in person on each veteran.
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal.
Please note that this role does not involve making disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of 4 veterans per day.
- Review and assess medical records to determine the best course of action.
- Complete DBQs accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- A valid Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program.
- An active and unrestricted psychology license.
- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
