Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Psychologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor.
Description
As a Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in serving the Veteran community by performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
You will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran. Additionally, you will complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
Please note that this role does not involve making disability determinations, as these decisions are made by the U.S. Veterans Administration using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review behavioral health records and perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
- Assess 4 Veterans per day on average.
Requirements:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited program/school.
- An active & unrestricted Psychology license.
