Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Responsibilities
- Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program/school.
- An active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
This is an in-person position with a Part-Time schedule of 2-3 days per week. You will review and assess approximately 4 Veterans per day.
