Medical Assessments for Veterans
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Job Description:
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
- Electronically document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
The role performs Disability Assessments, but does not make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.
This is an in-person position with a set schedule (Tues & Thurs, 8am-4pm) performing assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.
Requirements:
- Hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Be proficient in using a computer.
