About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role involves reviewing medical records electronically, conducting in-person physical exams, and documenting findings through a web portal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review electronic medical records to inform assessment decisions
- Conduct focused in-person physical exams on Veterans
- Electronically document exam findings in accordance with VA requirements
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
Requirements:
- CURRENT AND UNRESTRICTED NP OR PA (NCCPA ACCREDITED) LICENSE
- Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
- Able to proficiently use a computer
