Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a Disability Assessment Physician Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal and conducting in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
Your findings will be documented electronically through the web portal, but please note that you will not make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.
This is an IN-PERSON position with a regular schedule of 2 days/week (8am-4pm). You will NOT treat or prescribe medication in this role.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Is interested in performing independent medical assessments.
- Can analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Has excellent time management skills and can stay on task to meet requirements.
- Must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA license.
- Is proficient in using a computer.

Salary Information:
