Job Description
- As a licensed psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting disability assessments on United States veterans.
- These assessments involve reviewing medical records and completing assessment questionnaires to determine the level of disability for each veteran.
This is a part-time schedule available role that requires expertise in conducting Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with the Veteran community and possess strong communication skills.
Additional responsibilities include reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conducting comprehensive in-person assessments for each veteran.
You will also be responsible for completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
It's essential to note that the licensed psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all such determinations, using findings recorded in the DBQs.
