What are the responsibilities and job description for the Disability Assessment Specialist position at MRG Exams?
MRG Exams is looking for a qualified Disability Assessment Specialist to work with United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
This role involves reviewing medical records electronically through our web portal and performing in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
We need an individual who can efficiently manage their time and meet the demands of this position.
This is an IN-PERSON job that performs Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.
Job Details:
- Schedule Full-time (Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm OR Monday-Friday 8am-4pm)
- Typical day: 3 to 5 patients a day
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Manage time effectively to meet the requirements of this role.
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
