About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled healthcare provider to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans.
This role requires strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data, as well as excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals is also essential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
- Analyze electronic medical records to determine Veteran eligibility for disability benefits.
- Document exam findings and complete required VA forms accurately.
- Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings.
Note: This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.
Requirements:
A current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license is required.
You should be comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
