What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expert Assessment Psychologist Wanted for VA Disability Evaluations position at MRG Exams?
Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform disability assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process.
This role involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conducting comprehensive in-person assessments on each Veteran. The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes these decisions based on the findings recorded in the Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
As an independent contractor, you will assess 4 Veterans per day, two days a week, in this rewarding position that allows for a unique blend of clinical work and administrative tasks.
