About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team as a Veteran Services Audiologist - Medical Evaluations. This role will involve conducting medical evaluations on Veterans, utilizing their expertise to provide accurate and comprehensive assessments. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
**Responsibilities**
* Perform medical evaluations on Veterans, including Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests
* Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in the computer portal to provide medical evidence for the VA
* Review and assess medical records uploaded into the computer portal before each appointment
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all assessments and evaluations
**Requirements**
* Au.D. degree from an ASHA-accredited school
* Current licensure as an Audiologist
* Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
