Job Overview
MRG Exams is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to perform medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
This role exclusively involves conducting independent medical examinations and documenting findings electronically through a web portal. The Nurse Practitioner will not make disability determinations, which are made by the United States Veterans Administration.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, independence, and proficiency in using computer systems.
Average caseload is 3-5 Veterans per day, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4pm.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Perform Independent Medical Assessments with high accuracy.
- Utilize time management skills to meet requirements and stay on task.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
