What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hearing Specialist - Disability Evaluations position at MRG Exams?
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. As a key member of our team, you will review Veteran medical records and perform a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. You will then complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within our secure portal, generating the necessary documentation for the VA to determine the Veteran's eligibility for benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
- Analyze electronic medical records via our secure web portal.
- Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms.
Position Details:
This is a part-time role with a predictable schedule, no on-call duties, and a caseload of 3-6 Veterans per day on average. We provide all necessary equipment and tools for documentation.
