What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Psychologist for VA Disability Assessments position at MRG Exams?
About the Role
As a Licensed Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. You will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal. The findings recorded in the DBQs will be used by the U.S. Veterans Administration to make disability determinations.
This role is an in-person position and does not involve treating or prescribing medication. You will assess 4 Veterans per day on average.
