We are seeking a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our team of medical experts. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of veterans by conducting independent medical assessments and completing VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Your expertise will help the VA make informed decisions regarding disability benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
- Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
- Complete and submit DBQs based on VA-specific templates to capture all relevant medical findings.
- Assess up to four veterans daily.
Requirements:
- Active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred.
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential.
