We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assessment Specialist to join our team at MRG Exams in Herron, MI-49744. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will play a critical role in performing independent medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Responsibilities include reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal and conducting focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will also electronically document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal. It is essential to note that you will NOT make disability determinations; instead, you will provide objective medical opinions that support the VA's decision-making process.
