We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
This role involves reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal and conducting focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
The successful candidate will document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal, while maintaining independence in medical assessments. The focus is on Disability Assessments, not treatment or prescription medication.
In this position, you will perform an average of 3-5 assessments per day, Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm, working in a clinical setting.
Requirements
- Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Skill in time management, staying on task, and meeting requirements.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Proficient computer user.
