About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assessor to join our team at MRG Exams. As a Veteran Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this position, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. Your findings will be documented electronically through the web portal, providing valuable insights for the disability determination process.
It is essential to note that as a Medical Assessor, you will not make disability determinations. The United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, and your role is to provide accurate and unbiased medical opinions based on your assessment.
This position requires strong analytical skills, allowing you to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions. You must also be proficient in time management, able to stay on task, and meet requirements.
